Submissions are sought for poems covering the following topics:

  • The Union Movement – its history and benefits.
  • Historic strikes both before and after 1926.
  • The role of unions in the modern world.

Poems written specifically for this project, and not previously published elsewhere, will be selected for inclusion in a special issue of The Fig Tree. If there is sufficient interest, Crooked Spire Press will also produce a printed anthology featuring these poems, alongside additional work from the wider submission process and selected existing sources.
