The 2021 edition of the Scottish Labour History Society’s peer-reviewed journal Scottish Labour History is out now. Articles include Sam Purdie on ‘The Kames Pit Disaster, 1957’; Stewart Maclennan on ’The Workers’ Party of Scotland (Marxist-Leninist)’; and Mary McAuliffe on ‘Margaret Skinnider: Scottish-born Irish radical’.
Subscribers to this issue will also receive a complimentary copy of Diverse Voices, Challenging Injustice: Banner Tales from Glasgow, a 106-page joint publication by the SLHS, Glasgow Museums and the University of Glasgow School of Geographical & Earth Sciences, which tells the stories of the peace, anti-apartheid and anti-racist movements of Glasgow through the voices of their participants.
